Sychem Polymers LLC: Terms and Conditions

1. General Terms

  • These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of shipping, logistics, and material handling services provided by Sychem Polymers LLC (“We” or “Company”).
  • By engaging our services, customers (“You” or “Client”) agree to comply with these Terms. Company is granted permission to trade post-industrial commodities under USA’s Accelerating a Circular Economy for Plastics and Recycling Innovation Act of 2024

2. Shipping and Delivery

  • Global Reach: We provide logistics services worldwide, using Maersk, ONE, and MSC shipping lines.
  • Container Handling: Our Austin, Texas facility can accommodate up to 500 containers at a time. Container storage is charged at USD 200 per hour for a 40 HQ container.
  • Loading and Shipping: We ensure timely and secure loading of your goods, with cranes and lifters available for handling containers.
  • Shipping Timelines: Estimated shipping times will be provided upon confirmation of order, but actual times may vary depending on conditions, customs clearance, or other factors beyond our control.

3. Payment Policy

  • Accepted Payment Methods:
  • We accept payments from LLC-certified countries. Payment can be made via:
  • Telegraphic Transfer (TT)
  • Bank Transfer
  • Direct Deposit
  • Deposit Requirement: A 50% deposit is required at the time of loading. The remaining 50% is due after final inspection and weight confirmation.
  • Proof of Payment: After completing a payment, customers must share the deposit slips with Sychem Polymers LLC by email or whatsapp to confirm receipt of funds.
  • Late Payment: Payments not received within 7 days of the final inspection may incur a penalty of 5% of the total invoice amount per week of delay.

4. Storage and Handling

  • Storage Charges: USD 200 per hour for 40 HQ containers. Rates may vary for other container sizes and will be confirmed during the quoting process.
  • Additional Fees: If storage exceeds the agreed timeframe, additional fees will apply at the rate specified.
  • Crane and Lifter Services: These are included in the hourly storage fee. Any special handling or additional equipment required will incur additional charges.

5. Liability and Insurance

  • Carrier Responsibility: Once containers are loaded and handed over to the shipping carrier (Maersk, ONE, MSC), liability for any damage, loss, or delay passes to the carrier. Sychem Polymers is not responsible for any incidents after handover.
  • Customer Insurance: It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their goods are adequately insured during transit. Sychem Polymers LLC is not liable for any damages or losses during transit unless directly caused by our team’s handling.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or inability to perform due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, war, labor strikes, etc.).

6. Inspection and Final Weights

  • Inspection Process: All shipments will undergo a final inspection and weight confirmation process. This ensures that the weight and condition of goods are accurate before final invoicing.
  • Customer Presence: Clients may be present during the inspection process or may choose to appoint a third party. If no one is available, the Company’s decision on weights and condition will be final.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation Policy: Orders can be canceled without penalty up to 24 hours before the loading date. Cancellations made within 24 hours of loading may incur a 20% fee.
  • Refunds: Refunds for deposits are available if cancellation occurs prior to loading. No refunds will be issued once goods are loaded and shipping has commenced.
  • Non-Refundable Items: Certain special services such as custom handling, specific equipment rental, or expedited services are non-refundable after they have been initiated.

8. Customs and Documentation

  • Compliance: Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete documentation for customs clearance. Any delay caused by improper documentation is the responsibility of the customer.
  • Customs Fees: All customs duties, taxes, and import/export fees are the responsibility of the customer.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
  • Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of these terms will be resolved through arbitration in the State of Texas unless otherwise mutually agreed.

10. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers via email or website notification.
